I installed this but my splash screen says version S3V11-F. I try to connect to heater that seems to be slightly newer than the list suggests so version S4V1-F could possibly work if i get my hands on it. I don't know if there is update i should do, but couldn't figure out anything wrong with installation that i have. My folders also suggests it should be S4V1-F. Am I missing something?

Ahoj,

toto je celkom bežný problém s EDiTH, tak sa neboj, nie si sám.

Čo sa pravdepodobne deje

Splash screen ukazujúci S3V11-F namiesto S4V1-F zvyčajne znamená jednu z týchto vecí:

  • Stará verzia sa neodinštalovala čisto — ak si mal predtým nainštalovanú staršiu EDiTH, nová inštalácia mohla prepísať len niektoré súbory, ale hlavný executable alebo konfiguračný súbor ostal starý. EDiTH si ťahá verziu z interného config/ini súboru alebo priamo z exe.
  • Spúšťaš nesprávny .exe — skontroluj, či nemáš v systéme dva priečinky EDiTH (napr. starý v Program Files a nový niekde inde). Možno shortcut na ploche ukazuje na starú cestu.
  • Neúplná extrakcia archívu — ak archív vyžadoval heslo a niečo sa nerozbalilo správne, mohli sa prepísať len čiastočné súbory.

Čo skúsiť

  1. Kompletne odinštaluj akúkoľvek existujúcu EDiTH verziu cez Ovládací panel / Programy.
  2. Ručne vymaž priečinok inštalácie (zvyčajne C:\Program Files (x86)\Eberspaecher\EDiTH\ alebo podobne) — uisti sa, že tam nezostali žiadne staré súbory.
  3. Znovu rozbaľ archív s heslom binunlock.com (autor potvrdil aktualizovaný link vyššie, tak použi ten najnovší).
  4. Nainštaluj nanovo a pred spustením skontroluj vlastnosti hlavného .exe súboru — pravým kliknutím → Properties → Details — tam by si mal vidieť verziu.
  5. Spusti ako administrátor (pravý klik → Run as administrator).

Overenie verzie v priečinku

Ak tvoje priečinky naznačujú S4V1-F ale splash ukazuje S3V11-F, pozri sa na:

  • Dátum a veľkosť hlavného .exe súboru — zodpovedá tomu, čo bolo v archíve?
  • Či nemáš niekde EDiTH.ini alebo config súbor, ktorý si drží starú referenciu na verziu.

Čo sa týka kompatibility s novším kúrením — áno, S4V1-F má rozšírenú podporu oproti S3V11-F, takže ak máš novší Airtronic/Hydronic model, upgrade na správnu verziu by mohol pomôcť s pripojením.

Daj vedieť, čo ti ukáže po čistej reinštalácii. 👍
