runtime error 216 at 6560dc18
"Runtime Error 216" is a classic. It is almost always an Access Violation, meaning the program is trying to execute code in memory that Windows is protecting, or the file itself is corrupted.
Since many of these keygens are written in older languages (like Delphi), try these fixes in this order:
1. Compatibility Mode
Right-click the kеу*** -> Properties -> Compatibility.
Check "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and choose Windows XP (Service Pack 3).
(You can try Windows 7 if XP fails).
2. DEP (Data Execution Prevention)
This is the most common culprit for Error 216 on modern Windows.
- Search Windows for "View advanced system settings".
- Click the Settings button under the "Performance" section.
- Go to the Data Execution Prevention tab.
- Select "Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select".
- Click Add... and select your kеу*** .exe file.
- Click Apply/OK and try running it again.
If both of those fail, the file is likely corrupted (0 bytes or missing header) because the antivirus "cleaned" it while you were moving it. You will have to delete it and re-extract it with Defender completely off.
