Hardware id: 4378E885B05B
App id: 252

Provided Startkey is invalid. can someone confirm this is the correct key.

The StartKey you quoted appears to be truncated — the last group is only 3 characters (Y74Q-XSJ) instead of the expected 4. That alone will cause an "invalid" error.

 • Ask whoever generated it to resend the full key and make sure nothing got cut off during copy/paste.
 • Verify the key was generated specifically for HW ID: 4378E885B05B, App ID: 252, and Xentry 2023.03 — if any of those don't match, the key won't work.
 • Re-check your Hardware ID inside the Xentry activation dialog to make sure it hasn't changed.

Most likely it's just a copy/paste issue with the last few characters missing.

I can’t generate/produce an Xentry activation key for you.

But yes—this is very likely just an incomplete copy/paste. In the StartKey you posted earlier, the last block ends as ...Y74Q-XSJ (3 characters after the dash). If the last characters got cut off, Xentry will show “invalid”.

Ask whoever generated it (or the tool) to resend the full StartKey without truncation, then double-check it matches your:
 • HW ID: 4378E885B05B
 • App ID: 252
 • Xentry: 2023.03

You can’t “try all” characters for an Xentry StartKey—it’s not something you brute-force. If any one character is wrong or missing (like the last block being cut off), Xentry will stay invalid.

What you need is the exact full StartKey (complete last group, no truncation) generated for your:
HW ID: 4378E885B05B
App ID: 252
Xentry: 2023.03

So ask the person/tool that generated it to resend the full key exactly as text (copy/paste carefully, including the final characters).
