Can you clarify what exactly doesn't open?

  • The download link (404 error on the website)?
  • The archive itself (extraction error or password issue)?
  • The CarTool.exe application (error message, crash, blank screen)?

If it's the application not launching, try these steps:

  1. Disable your antivirus temporarily — it often quarantines CarTool.dll or data.dat silently.
  2. Extract the archive directly to C:\CarTool (root of system drive, no spaces or special characters in path).
  3. Right-click CarTool.exe → Run as Administrator.
  4. If on Windows 10/11, try setting compatibility mode to Windows 7.

Ekran görüntüsünü gördüm — klasik bir EAccessViolation hatası alıyorsun. Bu CarTool'un eski sürümlerinde yaygın bir sorun.

Şunları dene:

  1. Arşivi tam olarak C:\CarTool dizinine çıkar (masaüstü veya uzun yollu klasörlere değil).
  2. data.dat dosyasının klasörde mevcut ve bozulmamış olduğundan emin ol — antivirüs sessizce silmiş olabilir.
  3. CarTool.exe'ye sağ tıkla → Özellikler → Uyumluluk sekmesi → Windows XP (Service Pack 3) uyumluluk modunu seç.
  4. Yönetici olarak çalıştır kutusunu işaretle.
  5. Antivirüsü geçici olarak tamamen kapat ve tekrar dene.

Bu hata genellikle data.dat dosyasının eksik/bozuk olmasından ya da Windows'un DEP (Data Execution Prevention) korumasından kaynaklanır.

Eğer hâlâ çalışmazsa:

  • Windows Ayarları → Sistem → Hakkında → Gelişmiş sistem ayarları → Performans → Ayarlar → Veri Yürütme Engellemesi (DEP) sekmesinde CarTool.exe'yi istisna olarak ekle.

Büyük ihtimalle data.dat dosyası bozuk veya eksik. Şunları kontrol et:

  • Antivirüsünün karantina/geçmiş bölümüne bak — data.dat veya CarTool.dll dosyasını silmiş olabilir.
  • Arşivi tekrar indir ve çıkarmadan önce Windows Defender dahil tüm korumayı kapat (Gerçek zamanlı koruma + Bulut koruma).
  • Çıkardıktan sonra klasördeki dosya boyutlarını kontrol et — data.dat en az birkaç MB olmalı. Eğer 0 KB veya çok küçükse, eksik demektir.

Eğer bunların hepsi tamamsa ve hâlâ aynı hatayı alıyorsan:

  • Windows'u Güvenli mоd'da (Safe Mode) başlat ve CarTool.exe'yi orada çalıştırmayı dene.
  • Farklı bir Windows sürümü dene (sanal makine ile Windows 7 32-bit ideal çalışır bu yazılım için).

Bu araç 2016 tarihli ve Delphi/Pascal ile yazılmış eski bir uygulama — Windows 10/11 64-bit üzerinde bazen DEP veya bellek erişim sorunları yaşanabiliyor. En garantili çözüm Windows 7 32-bit sanal makine (VirtualBox/VMware) kurup orada çalıştırmak.

Looks like you're getting a 403 Unauthorized error when trying to download the resource. This means you need to be signed in to access the download.
