Hi

I have a Giulietta BCM (Magneti Marelli) with a S64F EEPROM and which has a hardware failure. I've read and retrieved the bin file from this unit.
I would like to make this a virgin bin file to be able to flash it in any other BCM and make it work in my car.
I can make a 1 on 1 bin dump a "new" BCM, but I would like take the opportunity to learn about how to change the keys, mileage and chassis number.
I have tried to copy only these lines from the bin-file to another BCM with a different hardware number, but obviously this is blocked by any CRC check (?) in the car.

Does anyone have a iprog clone script which is able to make the bin-file virgin or is there a tool to recalculate the CRC's?

Any help is highly appreciated as I am experienced in electronics but not in this area and I would like to learn and have to start somewhere.
I have a chinese iprog and a RT809h programmer, I hope that is enough to start with...

Thanks a lot!

Look into the UPA-USB programmer there are threads on here where you can download the program and scripts but im not sure if your ecu is supported though.

what it can do:

• Odometer (KM) calibration and correction.
• Immobilizer (IMMO) data decoding and disabling (IMMO OFF).
• Airbag module crash data clearing and reset.
• Radio code reading.
• Login/PIN code extraction from various modules.
• Virginizing ECUs and other control units.

Thanks, that sounds nice. I will look into that. I hope it works with the Chinese UPA version too, otherwise it's again quite a big invest.

I will start digging into this option, there are so many different interfaces that it is very difficult for me to decide which to buy (first). At this moment I am mostly into the Italian cars of the period 2005-2015, but it would be nice to keep the options open for all VAG products too.
